Miss Amy's Daycare is a genuinely inclusive setting with extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of additional needs.

No child is too complex for the right care

Miss Amy has worked extensively with children who are non-verbal, have limited speech, or have diagnoses including autism, ADHD and developmental delays. This experience isn't just professional, it's deeply personal and rooted in a genuine belief that every child has the capacity to thrive when they are truly understood.

We do not view additional needs as barriers. We view them as a call to learn, adapt and provide something more a setting that meets each child exactly where they are.

Every child with additional needs is supported through a bespoke Individual Support Plan, developed in partnership with parents and, where relevant, external professionals such as speech and language therapists, SENCOs and health visitors.

Visual schedules, Makaton-inspired signing, PECS-style communication tools and total communication approaches tailored to each child's needs.

Each child with additional needs has a clear, regularly reviewed plan created in full partnership with parents and relevant professionals.

Close collaboration with speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, health visitors, paediatricians and school SENCOs.
